'Political will of countries in region created bridge of friendship'

Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs has emphasized that the bridge of friendship and brotherhood that has been created through the political will of the countries in the south and north of the Persian Gulf has formed a clear vision of stability and development for the people of the region.

Ali Bagheri Kani made the remarks in a meeting with Anwar Mohammed Gargash, senior diplomatic advisor to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) President, and Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, Minister of State within the UAE Minister of State of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

Stressing that Iran considers no limit to enhancing its ties with neighbors, Bagheri Kani called the continuous political consultation between the officials of the two countries' foreign ministries to be the significant factor in bolstering the relations between Tehran and Abu Dhabi.

He reiterated that regional security and stability depend on the cooperation of all countries in the region for development and progress.

Emphasizing the efficiency of the neighborhood policy adopted by President Raisi's administration, he noted that the bridge of friendship and brotherhood that has been created through the political will of the countries in the south and north of the Persian Gulf has created a clear vision of stability and development for the people of the region.

Bagheri Kani underlined that the consolidation of mutual political trust between the two countries is the key to the stability of relations between Iran and the UAE in the new era.

The senior Emirati officials, for their part, emphasized the determination of their country's government to comprehensively improve ties with Iran and considered the deepening of economic relations as a priority.
